This year, for the life of me, I couldn’t find wedge heels that were under seven inches tall or the right color to match my Easter dress. Therefore, I decided to undertake the task of converting sandals I had purchased many years ago into something cute and updated.
Note: Please disregard the type of glue pictured. It ends up staining the ribbon. I resorted to my other favorite—-Aileen’s tacky glue.

As promised, the final product. My tension didn’t come out quite the same, though. The “new” sock is about an inch longer than the “old” sock but hey…they’re wearable.

I decided that before I go back to school I would have a little embroidery fun with my Toms shoes. The idea isn’t completely mine (Toms shoe embroidery has been done before) but the design is all mine. My inspiration came from one of my favorite verses—notice the reference on the right shoe :) Also, forgive the image quality. Like I said before, I’m a starving college student so I can’t afford a professional camera for times such as these.
